About Me

Since launching Rosaberry people often ask me which aspect of my work I like the best — teaching or providing personal chef services. Luckily for me, I love both. I truly enjoy helping people reach their culinary potential through classes, but there’s something equally satisfying in knowing that a busy family will be able to sit down to a healthful, delicious meal after a long day.

In April 2013 I joined Parents Magazine as food editor. I develop recipes for the print magazine and website and collaborate with terrific writers and chefs whose talents also inspire my work with my Rosaberry clients. In July 2018, my role expanded to also include Health Magazine. My food writing and recipes have also appeared in Kiwi Magazine, New York Family Magazine’s food blog Yummy Delicious, Yahoo! Shine, NBC Universal’s iVillage.com, and BrunchCritic.com. I have also appeared numerous times on the Today Show and in several cooking videos on Parents.com.

I have published three cookbooks with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt: Real Baby Food: Easy, All-Natural Recipes for Your Baby and Toddler, Smoothie-licious: Power-Packed Smoothies for the Whole Family, and Baby-Led Feeding: A Natural Way to Raise Happy, Independent Eaters. My cooking style and passion for flavorful food evolved from both formal training and life experience. I have a Culinary Arts degree from The Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan and have spent time in both restaurant and catering kitchens.  I have traveled to four continents and draw upon the flavors I found there in my cooking, with a special emphasis on Mediterranean cuisine. But, as a wife and a mother I know the value of simple, delicious meals that can be put together at a moment’s notice.

So, let’s get cooking! Contact me, and we’ll talk about how to make your life more delicious.
